Printing
Configure and use receipt printing for customer receipts.
Supported Printers
- USB thermal printers (ESC/POS compatible)
- Network thermal printers
- Any printer with Windows/Mac driver support
USB Thermal Printers (Windows)
Most USB thermal printers appear as COM ports. Common ports:
- COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9
To find your printer port: 1. Open Device Manager 2. Expand "Ports (COM & LPT)" 3. Look for your printer (e.g., "USB Serial Port") 4. Note the COM number
Network Printers
Enter the printer's IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.100)
Configuration
1. Navigate to Settings → Business 2. Enter the printer port or IP address 3. Click "Test Print" to verify
Receipt Content
Receipts include:
- Business name and address
- Transaction date and time
- Items purchased (name, quantity, price)
- Subtotal, tax, and total
- Payment method
- Change given (for cash payments)
- Transaction ID
Auto-Print
Receipts print automatically after successful payment. To reprint: 1. Navigate to Transactions 2. Find the transaction 3. Click "Print Receipt"
Troubleshooting
Printer not responding:
- Check printer is powered on
- Verify correct port/IP address
- Test with "Test Print" button
Garbled text:
- Ensure printer is ESC/POS compatible
- Check printer baud rate settings
No paper:
- Check paper roll
- Replace if empty
