General

Q: Does the POS work offline? A: Yes, the POS works 100% offline. It only requires internet for license validation and optional cloud sync.

Q: What happens if my internet goes down? A: The app continues to work normally. It uses a 30-day grace period for license validation. Cloud sync will resume when internet is restored.

Q: Can I use this on multiple computers? A: Each license is for one installation. For multiple computers, purchase additional licenses.

Licensing

Q: Do I need a domain name? A: No, unlike WordPress plugins, the desktop app only requires a license key for activation.

Q: What happens when my license expires? A: The app will stop working after the grace period expires. Renew your license to continue using it.

Q: Can I transfer my license to a new computer? A: Yes, deactivate the license on the old computer first, then activate on the new one.

Q: Where is my data stored? A: Data is stored locally in SQLite format. Windows: %APPDATA%\com.posapp.desktop\posapp.db, Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/com.posapp.desktop/posapp.db

Q: Can I backup my data? A: Yes, copy the database file to a safe location for backup.

Q: What printers are supported? A: USB thermal printers (ESC/POS compatible) and network thermal printers.
