POS

The POS module records in-store sales sessions and transaction activity.

POS sessions

Open a session with an opening cash value, record transactions during service, and close the session with a closing cash value.

Transactions

Transactions can record sale, refund, payment method, payment status, amount, notes, and restaurant context.

Use cases

  • Counter orders.
  • Cash reconciliation.
  • Card and cash totals.
  • Refund tracking.
  • End-of-day restaurant summaries.

The POS module is operational recordkeeping inside WordPress. Payment capture still depends on the configured WooCommerce or external payment process.
