Business profile

Configure the salon name, contact details, timezone, currency, tax behavior, booking page, cancellation policy, and customer notification defaults before accepting live bookings.

Locations

Create every branch or service location that customers can book. Each location should have its address, phone number, timezone assumptions, active status, and assigned staff.

Services

Services define what customers can book. Configure:

• Name, category, public description, duration, buffer time, price, deposit, tax behavior, and active status.
• Optional extras and add-ons.
• Staff members who can perform the service.
• WooCommerce product sync when payments are processed through WooCommerce.

Staff and schedules

Each staff member should have assigned services, locations, working hours, breaks, days off, and booking capacity. Availability is calculated from service duration, buffers, staff schedules, existing bookings, holidays, and configured capacity rules.

Booking forms

Booking forms collect customer details and custom fields. Keep required fields limited to information needed for appointment confirmation, payment, and service preparation.

Notifications

Configure customer and staff notifications for booking confirmation, reminders, cancellations, reschedules, waitlist updates, payment events, and review requests. Test sender delivery before enabling reminders for production.

Roles and access

Administrators should keep full access. Staff roles should only receive the capabilities needed to manage their own calendar, bookings, customers, or services. Review access before giving vendor or marketplace accounts dashboard permissions.
